For full length Rod Pocket panels measure the length from F to G. Measure the space from the top of window to ceiling (H). Ideally, your rod should be at least 4" above the window.

Remember the higher the panel is hung the more dramatic your room will appear.

Our standard pocket is 3 inches. This size pocket is best when used with a 1 3/8 inch diameter rod. Always allow 1" for take up on your length when using this size rod.

Most panels are measured from top of rod pocket to bottom of panel unless they have a header in which case, they are measured to the top of the header.

Additional length may be added if puddling is desired. Add 1 to 3 inches for a minimal puddle. For a more oppulent puddle add 4 to 8 inches. Puddling is not recommended for draperies that are opened and closed frequently.

When measuring the width for fully functional panels (those which close completely), measure the width of your window from A to B and then add at least 3 to 4 inches per panel for overlap. If you would like the draperies to clear your window when open, be sure your pole is 20% larger for flat panels and 30% larger for pleated panel than the window dimension (this does not include the finials).
